Very sturdy and complex, but awesome.My grandson loved it made wellI have a difficult time giving this a rating, whether or not I should give him 3 or 4 stars. There are things that I love, and things I have a hard time getting past.Pros:- He looks amazing, embodying power. He's flashy without being tacky.- Nice pose-ability: He can rotate his arms in and out, back and forth, up and down (in fact a full 360). He has a ball jointed head that's even able to lean back slightly when his head is positioned in profile. He stands well even on carpet and can stay balanced through a variety of poses. His waist rotates and his knees have full range. The legs go back and forth a fair bit in each direction, although the backwards extension is somewhat marred by the roof of his car getting in the way.- His car mode looks great and well detailed. It rolls well and feels weighty when you hold it. The parts when fully in place are decently flush with few fit problems or gaps. Also the seam lines where the pieces connect during transformation are minimal, not distracting, and often in places where they would be on an actual car.- When you get past some annoyances, his transformation is overall fun and interesting, and once you finally get the hang of it, fairly satisfying, especially if you pull it off without aid of the directions.- He's huge (almost a foot tall)! Also very sturdy for his price. It's hard to find large transformable figures at this price point.Cons:- There are a lot of loose parts that move about constantly. Sometimes, this makes Z look awkward in robot mode, as many of the car parts on the back of him flap about and even drop out of its intended position.- These loose parts make the tactile process of transforming him not very pleasant, at least the first couple of times. The windows bend, so sometimes you have it crashing into the underside of the car roof, preventing you from properly connecting the doors to the rest of the parts. The parts by the shoulders that go down behind his front wheels and connect to the doors often move about: the connecting points to the doors don't lock them in position making them just loose parts that wiggle around. The car is never together until it's fully together, making it necessary to hold the car tight in position as you transform it, and often times requiring adjustments at loose points. At times the doors have a hard time going into the connecting point at the rear of the car. But this can be avoided by pressing inwards the side rear pieces, pushing the door in, and then pressing on the back of the rear piece to press the latch into place.There's also more adjustment to the position of the arms whilst pulling down the tabs behind the front wheels, because these parts often conflict and crash into each other.- I just personally don't like how the back doors have the windows bending and just hanging over his lower arms in robot mode. It's minor, mostly a pet peeve.Even with this cons, I love him. His overall transformation process, even with it's occasional poor tactility and movement of certain parts around each other, is satisfying and transforms him into a really neat and clean looking SUV. He's solid and weighty, and I really like large figures. His robot mode is awesome and he has good balance and poseability which makes him a great action figure. With these issues though, he's definitely not for everyone.3.5 stars.Good quality but it’s not easy to transform to car or robotProduct came as promised (some minor damage to the packaging, but it’s for a kid so no issue). The product was a bit expensive but compared to any other place selling it I got it half off. My son loves it……just wish commander universe didn’t cost so much……the things we do for children…..My 5 & 3 yr old have had so much fun collecting Tobot toys. The transformation is a bit difficult for small children but my 5 yr old learned how to correctly transform the tobots without breaking them. Tobot transformers is a collector’s item as well as a play toy so if your child is rough on toys I wouldn’t recommend purchasing because it’ll end up broken but if your children is patience and willing to learn how to properly transform the toy without breaking it it’s definitely worth purchasing.This thing is a (now appropriately titled) beast. Very big with solid construction. We purchased Big Trail a year back, so we've got the combined mode going as well. Very happy with this guy and Tobots in general. We've got a bunch of transformers and for the most part the pieces are small and prone to breaking/snapping. Most all of the recent Tobots are nigh on indestructible.Hope to see a bigger Tobot selection in the US!Bought as gift for grandson. All I know is he liked it.Very nice quality. When I compare it to all the robots or transformers bought, this is the nicest quality I ever purchased. The transformation is a bit more complicated than expected but it's part of the game. I would buy it again without any hesitation. Highly recommendedUn petit garçon heureux ??
